Too late to post...

It's incredibly late here, probably too late to make a post, but I want to post a few of these pictures I have from hiking over the last few weekends.
Two weeks ago I met my friends Sangeun, Kyu and Ho Hyeon near Seoul to go do some hiking. We had a great time...it was probably one of the first hot days of the summer. One thing about hiking near Seoul is that there are tons of people even on the mountain. It surprises me sometimes how many people will be hiking on a weekend...I guess I'm used to the States where usually if you're quite a ways up the mountain you are likely to either see no people, or very few people. Well, the mountain we went on there were people selling drinks and ice cream at the top! HA! I have no idea how those dudes packed that stuff up to the top...but they did. Seems like a lot of work, more than I'd want to do. I'm sure they made bank though...once we reached the summit there were 100s of people laying around eating and talking, it was nuts!
This past weekend we had a three day weekend (Monday was like Korean Memorial Day). I really wanted to go somewhere, but I opted to just stay around here and save some money for the summer trip with Mom and Dad. So, I did some late spring cleaning and then just went hiking alone on the mountain near my house. There were way fewer people! HA!
So, enjoy some pics from the hikes.
PS: The pictures where you can see the water, those are rice fields, they are growing rice here now...I'm not a farmer, but from the best I can tell they basically flood the fields with water about mid leg level, I guess rice has to be very wet to grow.
PPS: The pics will the little mounds are graves, people like to get buried on the mountains here...maybe these people were too out of shape to climb the mountain, so they just buried them at the spot! HA!
